Board changes

M&C Saatchi announces that Zillah Byng-Thorne, Non-Executive Chair, has notified the Company that, due to other executive and non-executive commitments and increased regulatory responsibilities, she intends to step down as a director of the Company with effect from the conclusion of the Company's Annual General Meeting to be held on 15 May 2025.

As of the conclusion of the Company's Annual General Meeting on 15 May 2025, Dame Heather Rabbatts, currently the Company's Senior Independent Director, will assume the role of interim Non-Executive Chair and Georgina Harvey, currently a Non-Executive Director, will assume the role of interim Senior Independent Director.

Dame Heather Rabbatts joined the board in January 2024 and has extensive experience having held a number of executive and non-executive positions across media, sport, local government and infrastructure.

Dame Heather Rabbatts, Senior Independent Director, commented:

"The Board and I would like to thank Zillah for her leadership, dedication and guidance that she has provided to the Company since she joined the Board in June 2023. Having joined the Company at a crossroads, her enthusiasm and experience has been the driving force behind M&C Saatchi's transformation strategy which was initiated during her time as Executive Chair. We are particularly grateful for her successful leadership, guidance and execution of the strategy in building a future growth model for our stakeholders and our brand which is now primed for the next stage of growth."

Zillah Byng-Thorne, Chair, commented:

I leave the Company with an improved outlook, a highly capable, enthusiastic and experienced management team, led by Zaid Al-Qassab, as well as a very strong and committed Board.
