DIRECTORATE CHANGES

London, England and San Francisco, CA. -1 March 2016 - blinkx PLC (blinkx or the "Company"), today announces two changes to its Board of Directors.

blinkx is pleased to appoint Ms. Andrea Lee Cunningham ("Andy"), age 59, as an Independent Non-executive Director, effective 1 March 2016. In addition, Mr. Anthony Bettencourt, former Chairman of the Board and current Non-executive Director, has informed the Company of his intention to step down from the Board of Directors as at 31 March 2016.

Based in Palo Alto, California, Andy brings over thirty years' experience in building world class brands, helping to accelerate commercial growth, increase shareholder value and advance corporate reputation. She currently serves as founder and president of Cunningham Collective, a brand strategy firm dedicated to bringing innovation to market. The firm has worked with numerous premier brands in various sectors, including telecommunications, search, energy, media and publishing, finance, mobile, healthcare and big data.

Andy began her career at Regis McKenna and helped Steve Jobs and Apple launch the Macintosh computer in 1984. When Jobs left Apple to form NeXT and acquire Pixar, he selected Andy to represent him for several years. Following her work with NeXT, Andy has focused on marketing, branding and communication strategies for game-changing technologies and companies. She directed product launches within a number of emerging categories, including video games, personal computers, desktop publishing, digital imaging, microprocessors, software, performance jet aviation and clean technology. Andy has previously served as CMO for both Avaya (formerly Lucent Technologies) and Deem (formerly Rearden Commerce), and as CEO of several organizations, including Bite, CXO Communication and Citigate Cunningham.

Ms. Cunningham currently serves on several boards, including Specialized Bicycle Components, Inc., Finelite, Inc., The Aspen Institute, Menlo College, Northwestern University Medill School of Journalism, and ZERO1: The Art & Technology Network. Her past board positions include the international board of Young Presidents' Organization (YPO), the Northern California chapter of the World Presidents' Organization (WPO), the international board of Chief Executives Organization (CEO), the Peninsula Open Space Trust (POST) and the Computer History Museum. She is an Aspen Institute Henry Crown Fellow and holds memberships in WPO, CEO, TED and Women Corporate Directors. Andy holds a BA from Northwestern University.
