Riverstone Energy Limited (the "Company") has been notified that, in order to fulfil a personal financial commitment forming part of a divorce settlement, Mr David M. Leuschen, a director of the Company, sold 2,000,000 ordinary shares in the Company previously held, and transferred to him, by REL Coinvestment, LP and Riverstone Energy Limited Capital Partners, LP. The proceeds of this sale will be transferred in full to his former spouse.
