Roc Oil Company Limited11 May 2007 11 May 2007 ROC OIL COMPANY LIMITED ("ROC") STOCK EXCHANGE RELEASE Drilling Activity Update: Offshore Perth Basin Exploration Drilling - Perseverance-1 Roc Oil (WA) Pty Limited advises that as of 01:30 hours on 11th May 2007Australian Western Standard Time ("AWST") the Premium "Wilcraft" jack-updrilling rig commenced drilling the Perseverance-1 exploration well in WA-325-Pin the Perth Basin, 33 km WNW of Geraldton and about 100 kilometres NW of theCliff Head Oil Field, offshore Western Australia. As at 0600 hrs on 11th May 2007 AWST the current operation was drilling surfacehole at 107 metres. Perseverance-1, the second of the planned three well exploration drillingprogramme in the region, is scheduled to reach the proposed Total Depth of 1,774metres by late next week.
