New York, 21 May 2021 - Renalytix (LSE: RENX) announces that it has been advised of the sale by James McCullough, the Company's Chief Executive Officer, of 54,538 American Depositary Shares ("ADS"), each representing two ordinary shares of £0.0025 each in the capital of the Company ("Ordinary Shares"), under a Rule 10b5-1 trading plan established in accordance with Rule 10b5-1 under the U.S. Securities Exchange Act of 1934, as amended, and the EU Market Abuse Regulation as it forms part of UK law by virtue of the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018 ("MAR").
Rule 10b5-1 plans permit directors, officers and other company insiders to adopt, at times when they are not in possession of material, non-public information, or inside information, written plans for trading securities in a non-discretionary, pre-scheduled manner in the future.
Following completion of the sale, James McCullough is interested in 2,761,034 Ordinary Shares representing 3.83% of the current issued share capital of the Company. This includes shares held by his family trust, The McCullough 2020 Irrevocable Trust.
