R.E.A.Hldgs PLC10 May 2007 R.E.A. Holdings plc ("REA") It was announced by REA on 2 May 2007 that Mirabaud Securities Limited hadconditionally placed on behalf of REA a total of 1,500,000 new ordinary sharesof REA ("the placing shares") with a limited number of institutional investorsat a price of 450p per share. The placing was completed on 10 May 2007 with theadmission on 9 May 2007 of the placing shares to the Official List of theFinancial Services Authority and to dealings on the London Stock Exchange'smarket for listed securities. As a result of the issue of the placing shares, REA's issued share capital nowcomprises 32,573,856 ordinary shares of 25p and 11,449,624 9 per cent cumulativepreference shares of £1 each. The number of votes that may ordinarily be cast ona resolution at general meeting of REA that attach to the issued ordinary sharesis 32,573,856 and to the issued preference shares is nil. No shares in theissued capital of REA are held in treasury. The above figures may be used by REA shareholders for the calculations by whichthey determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change intheir interest in, shares of REA, under the Financial Services Authority'sDisclosure and Transparency Rules.
