Global Defence, Aerospace and Security Company Selects Rosslyn Data Technologies

Rosslyn Data Technologies plc (AIM: RDT), a leading global big data technology company, announces it has secured a data analytics contract worth over US$650,000. The contract covers a three-year period with US$250,000 to be billed in the first year and US$200,000 per annum in subsequent years. The contract includes an option to extend beyond the three-year term as well as the capability of having additional services provided during the contract life.

This client is a high profile global defence, aerospace and security company. The technology landscape in which it operates is complex, covering diverse companies and geographies and a multitude of data repositories and systems. This level of complexity means that the data challenges are extremely high, and the Directors believe that Rosslyn's selection demonstrates the trust organisations have in Rosslyn's RAPid platform. Rosslyn aims to complete the implementation of this project in less than eight weeks, including the provision of a complete data analytics enrichment, aggregation and dashboard service. This quick implementation demonstrates the power of Rosslyn's award-winning analytics platform, which simplifies how organisations make sense of and attain value from data, using leading-edge machine learning techniques.

The client is seeking to identify and capitalise on an increasing and varying number of opportunities it has identified in the procurement space. The functionality of Rosslyn's RAPid platform is providing a strategically important platform on which the client's transformation program will be reliant, enabling the compilation of multiple source data, and allowing it to focus on achieving its business objectives. In parallel, RAPid will enable the client to improve the quality of its data, monitor risks, visualise issues and develop its own customised analytical views. This compares to the standard canned and fixed traditional reporting and analytical needs that many of our competitors deliver. The Directors believe that RAPid closes the gap between the user and data and empowers them with easy to use, highly visual analytical functionality, enabling them to unlock the value of their data and identify opportunities that otherwise may have remained hidden.
