Pearson plc (the Company) announces today it has purchased the following number of its ordinary shares of 25 pence each on the London Stock Exchange from Citigroup Global Markets Limited.

Aggregate number of ordinary shares of 25 pence each purchased: 1,366
Lowest price paid per share: 872.00p
Highest price paid per share: 883.80p
Average price paid per share: 876.09p
The Company will cancel the purchased shares.
These share purchases form part of the Company's existing buy-back programme which is expected to be completed over the period from 4 April 2022 to 4 October 2022, details of which were announced on 4 April 2022.
