Premier Research Group09 November 2006 For Immediate Release 9 November 2006 Premier Research Group plc Directors' Shareholdings 8 November 2006, London, UK - Premier Research Group plc (AIM: PRG) ("PremierResearch", or the "Company"), the international pharmaceutical services grouptoday announces that today, in order to satisfy market demand, three directors,Dr Simon Yaxley (Chief Executive Officer), Dr Guy Patrick (Chief MedicalOfficer) and Bernard Gallagher (Chief Financial Officer) have sold a total of2.5 million ordinary shares of 1 pence each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares")at a price of 222p each through a placing with new and existing institutionalshareholders arranged by the Company's broker Evolution Securities. Immediately prior to the sale of the Ordinary Shares Bernard Gallagher exercisedan option granted to him, on 22 June 2004 under the CRC Scheme, to acquire2,500,000 Ordinary Shares at an exercise price of 1p per share from HenleyTrustees Limited. Following the sale Bernard Gallagher's remaining OrdinaryShares will be held by Henley Trustees Limited as nominee for him. Following the placing the directors will continue to be interested in a total of8 million shares, representing approximately 13.3 per cent. of the Company'sissued share capital. Furthermore the directors have confirmed that they have nocurrent intentions to sell any further shares.
