Princess publishes Annual Report 2019

Princess Private Equity Holding Limited ("Princess" or the "Company") today published its Annual Report for 2019. The key items were:

· Net Asset Value ("NAV") increased to EUR 12.56 per share, representing a total return of +21.1% for the year.

· Share price total return over the same period was +37.4%.

· Princess increased the total dividend in 2019 to EUR 0.58 (2018: EUR 0.56), representing 5.3% of opening NAV.

· Valuation developments (+25.0%) were the key driver of NAV growth. The largest contributors to NAV growth were the investments in Permotio, Action, GlobalLogic, KinderCare and Foncia.

· Investment activity totalled EUR 69.3 million, including new investments in Nestlé Skin Health, Axel Springer, Convex Group, Idera, Blue River PetCare, Confluent Health, BCR Group, and Schleich, and an add-on investment in Permotio International Learning.

· Realizations of EUR 104.1 million including the full exits of Vermaat and Agiliti.

Richard Battey, Chairman comments: "During 2019 Princess achieved a positive NAV performance driven by the continued growth of a number of its portfolio companies. Princess' portfolio provides shareholders with exposure to a global portfolio of leading private companies, operating in sub-sectors benefitting from long-term, structural growth drivers such as technology, education and healthcare. In an environment where companies are electing to remain privately-owned for longer, an investment in the shares of Princess provides investors with exposure to fast-growing companies that are otherwise challenging for investors in quoted equity markets to access."
