In February, PGPE Ltd's NAV declined by 0.5%, primarily due to the revaluation of two investments that are now listed on public markets, where broader volatility has pressured share prices. Within the listed portfolio, KinderCare Learning Companies ("KinderCare") and Vishal Mega Mart ("Vishal") experienced valuation declines reflecting weaker share price performance, despite strong underlying business fundamentals. Additionally, the valuation of United States Infrastructure Corporation ("USIC"), a US-based provider of underground utility locating services, declined over the month. However, recent indicators point to a sustained improvement in earnings quality, profitability, and margins. Meanwhile, the acquisition of Advanced Gas Operations has further diversified USIC's revenue base and strengthened its position in regulated and resilient end‑markets. Management continues to execute a strategic plan that focuses on pricing strategies, contract optimization, and operational digitalization, among others, to drive further performance improvements.

Elsewhere at the portfolio level, the valuation of Rosen Group, a global leader in mission-critical inspection services and technology for energy infrastructure assets, increased, reflecting its overall positive financial performance. The company continues to progress on its operational transformation, including the implementation of digital tools and organizational upgrades. Furthermore, the valuation of MPM Products ("MPM"), a UK-based global pet food company, also marginally increased during the month, reflecting growth in valuation EBITDA driven primarily by strong revenue growth across key markets and channels. Partners Group is working with MPM's management team to accelerate growth and transform the company into the global leader in premium wet cat food through an expansion of sales in core markets, entering new geographies, strengthening brand development, building e-commerce capabilities, and enhancing supply chain resilience. 

Finally, continuing its strong momentum in distribution activity, PGPE Ltd received EUR 22.2 million from its equity investment in Convex Group following the sale of the company to Onex and AIG. Convex is an international specialty insurer and reinsurer with operations in London and Bermuda. Convex was formed in 2019 as a de novo insurer and has rapidly grown into a leading specialty property and casualty insurer/reinsurer.
