NOTICE TO SHAREHOLDERS OF PRESS CORPORATION LIMITED
ELECTION OF CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE COMPANY
Press Corporation Limited is pleased to announce that the Company's Board of Directors recently elected Mr Clement Chilingulo as its Chairman effective from 01st January 2013. Mr Chilingulo succeeds Mr Dean Lungu who resigned from the Board after serving as a director since February 1996 and as Chairman from 2001. Mr Lungu was at the Company's helm during the period Press Corporation Limited listed on the Malawi and London Stock Exchanges.
Mr Chilingulo has been on the Board of the Company from February 2001 and chaired the Board's Appointments and Remuneration Committee until his election as Chairman of the Board. He has an LL.B degree from the University of Malawi and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Secretaries of the United Kingdom. Mr Chilingulo's association with Press Corporation Limited has always been close, having once worked at the Corporate Head Office from 1976 to 1983 during which period he rose to the position of Deputy Group Company Secretary.
