Press Corporation10 January 2008 PRESS CORPORATION LIMITED MR P P MULIPA - APPOINTMENT AS EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR The Board of Press Corporation Limited at its 112th meeting held on 14thDecember 2007, appointed Mr Pius Percy Mulipa as replacement to Mr D S MKambauwa who was an Executive Director on the Board and retired from companyservice on 31st December 2007. Mr Mulipa's appointment is effective from 1stJanuary 2008. Mr P P Mulipa is a holder of a Bachelor of Arts degree obtained from theUniversity of Malawi and an Msc in Management from Hampton University (UnitedStates of America). Mr Mulipa joined the Press Group in 1977 as a ManagementTrainee with People's Trading Centre Limited. In 1996, he was appointed to theposition of Assistant Group General Manager responsible for the Foods Division.In 2000, he became Group General Manager responsible for the IndustrialDivision. Mr Mulipa was later appointed Group General Manager - BusinessDevelopment in 2001 and later that year became Group Operations Executive(Trade), the position he currently holds. In this current position, Mr Mulipais the executive who oversees the operations of seven of the Group's subsidiaryand associate companies.
