Transaction in Own Shares
Michael Page International plc (the "Company") announces that on 28 June 2012 it purchased, through an independent third party, 199,255 of its ordinary shares for delivery to UBS Trustees (Jersey) Ltd, as trustee of Michael Page EBT (the "Trust") at an average price of 349.77 pence per share. The highest price paid was 353.90 pence per share and the lowest price paid was 347.80 pence per share.
In accordance with the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rule 5.6.1, we would like to notify the market that at the date of this announcement, the Company's share capital consists of 317,236,520 ordinary shares of 1p each, with no ordinary shares held in treasury.Following this purchase, there are 11,773,145 shares held by the Trust, which has waived the dividends and voting rights in respect of the shares it holds.
Therefore, the total number of voting rights in the Company is 305,463,375.
The above figure of 305,463,375 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company, under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
