BUYBACK OF OWN SHARES
ATHENS, Greece - October 11, 2013 - Hellenic Telecommunications Organization SA (ASE: HTO, OTC MARKET:HLTOY), the Greek full-service telecommunications provider, announces the intention to buyback own shares during the period from 11.10.2013 to 10.05.2014 within the framework of fulfillment of its obligations derived from the Stock Option Plan for executives of the Company and its subsidiaries in Greece and abroad.
More specifically, according to 26.06.2013 resolution of the General Meeting of Shareholders and nr 6/11-10-2013 decision of the CEO, OTE SA intends to purchase up to 5.991.465 shares, namely about 1.22% of the paid-up share capital of the Company, at a maximum purchase price of 13€ per share and a minimum purchase price of 2€ per share.
The purchases will be made in accordance with the terms of Regulation 2273/2003 of the Commission of the European Communities and the Decision 5/347/12.07.2005 of the Hellenic Capital Market Commission.
