Net Asset Value and Factsheet
The Board of Octopus Renewables Infrastructure Trust plc (the "Company" or "ORIT") announces that the unaudited net asset value ("NAV") of the Company as at 30 September 2020 on a cum-income basis was £340.3 million or 97.22 pence per ordinary share.
The Company's NAV per ordinary share has reduced by 0.36 pence per share since 30 June 2020. This small reduction was driven primarily by Company expenses, dividends paid, and a reduction in medium- to long-term power price forecasts. The reduced forecasts resulted in a negative impact of 1.0 pence per share. The reduction was offset by an increase of approximately 1.7 pence per share as a result of a reduction in the discount rates used to value the Company's portfolio, to reflect the market pricing observed in recent transactions, particularly for operational UK solar assets.
