CLOSE BROTHERS AIM VCT PLC
SHARE PURCHASE, VOTING RIGHTS AND CAPITAL
Close Brothers AIM VCT PLC announces that on 21 July 2008 it purchased 4,233 Ordinary shares at a price of 77.25 pence per share. The Ordinary shares purchased represent 0.01% of the total number of voting rights in the Company before the transaction.
These shares will be held in treasury.
Following this transaction, and, in conformity with the Transparency Directive's transitional provision 6 we would like to notify the market of the following;
Close Brothers AIM VCT PLC's capital today consists of 31,930,030 Ordinary shares with a nominal value of 50p, with voting rights. The Company holds 1,320,372 Ordinary shares in Treasury.
Therefore, the total number of voting rights in Close Brothers AIM VCT PLC is 30,609,658.
The figure of 30,609,658 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or change to their interest in Close Brothers AIM VCT PLC under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
