Oao Gazprom02 November 2006 PRESS-RELEASE 2 November 2006Moscow GAZPROM PLACED RUBLE BONDS OF A7 AND A8 SERIES FOR THE AMOUNT OF RUR 5 BILLION EACH SERIES Today OAO "Gazprom" placed ruble bonds of A7 and A8 series. The bonds are issuedfor the amount of RUR 5 billion each series, nominal value - RUR 1000, with 3and 5 years maturities, respectively. The coupon yield payable every 182nd day for A7 series was set at 6.79% as aresult of contest at the Moscow Inter-Bank Currency Exchange. Investors placedbids for the total sum of RUR 9.6 billion. The coupon yield payable every 182nd day for A8 series was set at 7.00% as aresult of contest at the Moscow Inter-Bank Currency Exchange. Investors placedbids for the total sum of RUR 7.4 billion. The bond issue was arranged by Renaissance Capital Investment Group and OAO"Rosbank". Horizon Investment Company served as co-arranger and OAO "FederalFund Corporation" acted as the financial consultant of the bond issue. The funds raised are intended to finance capital expenditures, implement newpromising projects of Gazprom, re-finance company's short-term debt and optimizethe corporate loan portfolio structure. Reference: Gazprom first placed its Al RUR 3 bln bonds in July 1999, with the secondplacement of the A2 RUR 5 bln bonds taking place in November 2002. On 3 February2004, Gazprom placed the A3 RUR 10 bln bonds. In October 2004, the Companyplaced the A5 RUR 5 bln bonds. The issue of A4 and A6 bonds, each worth RUR 5bln, took place in February and August 2005, respectively.
