Octagonal Plc (LSE AIM: OCT) announces exceptionally strong full year growthfrom its 9.97% investment in boutique international custodial and settlementbusiness, Global Investment Strategy UK Ltd ("GIS"), for the year ended 31March 2014. Highlights: * 79% increase in revenue to £2,550,800 (unaudited) in the year ended 31 March 2014. * 143% increase in global custody, settlement and trading transactions to 50,500 transactions. * 228 new professional accounts opened with GIS during the year. * Settlement values exceeded £4.8 billion for the year. Global Investment Strategy UK Ltd - Unaudited Full Year Results to 31 March 2014: GIS's main business activities are focused on global settlement and safecustody services for over 300 global hedge funds and family wealth offices. GIS is a London Stock Exchange member firm and is regulated by the FCA to offera broad scope of settlement, custody, banking, broking and advisory services toprofessional, retail, corporate and eligible counterparty clients. GIS has over100 counterparty relationships including most major international investmentsbanks transacting in the UK. GIS's revenues for the year ended 31 March 2014 grew 78.8% to £2,550,800(unaudited) versus £1,426,077 for the year ended 31 March 2013, whilst custody,settlement and trading handled over 50,500 transactions during the year versus20,700 in 2013, with settlement values in excess of £4.8 billion for the 31March 2014 year. For the month of March 2014 alone, GIS settled over 8,000 transactions for itscustody clients with a settlement value exceeding £1 billion.
