Directorate Changes

Norcros plc, the market leading supplier of innovative branded showers, tiles and adhesives, is pleased to announce the appointment of Martin Towers as Chairman with immediate effect. After over 5 years as Chairman John Brown will step down but will remain on the Board as Senior Independent Director and Chairman of the Audit Committee.

Martin Towers, who was appointed to the Board in July 2011, is currently the Senior Independent Director and Chairman of the Audit Committee. Martin is also a Non-Executive Director of RPC Group plc, KCOM Group plc and Lupus Capital plc. He was formerly Chief Executive Officer of Spice plc, the utility support services group, and prior to that Group Finance Director of Kelda Group plc, the FTSE 100 water company that incorporated Yorkshire Water, Group Finance Director of Spring Ram Corporation plc, the manufacturer and distributor of home improvement products, and Group Finance Director of McCarthy and Stone plc, the retirement home developer.

Commenting on the changes, Nick Kelsall, Group Chief Executive, said "John has been on the Board since flotation in July 2007, and has been instrumental in successfully steering the Group though some challenging times. The Board and I wish to thank John for his contribution as Chairman over the last five years, and we look forward to his continued support as Senior Independent Director and Chairman of the Audit Committee. I'm pleased that Martin has accepted the role of Chairman, and I look forward to working closely with him to continue to drive Norcros plc forward."
