Newmark Security plc (AIM:NWT), a leading provider of electronic and physical security systems, will hold its Annual General Meeting at 10:00am today. At the AGM Maurice Dwek, Chairman, will make the following statement:

Despite the continuing worldwide economic problems that creates many challenges for our clients and to our business, overall, trading is broadly in line with market expectations. The first tranche of equipment to be supplied to the Post Office under their Network Transformation Programme will have been invoiced and paid for in the first half of the year in line with our expectations. As always with our businesses, the outcome for the full year will be dependent on the timing of the larger projects of our customers."
