M.P. Evans Group PLC (the "Company" or the "Group")

As set out in the Notice of Meeting, due to ongoing restrictions on movement and public gatherings arising from the COVID-19 pandemic, shareholders may not attend our annual general meeting ("AGM") at 10:00 on Friday 5 June 2020 in person. The Group is urging shareholders to submit proxy votes as described in the Chairman's letter to shareholders published on 31 March 2020, available on the Group's website at www.mpevans.co.uk/investors/agm.

Additionally, the Group has made arrangements for the AGM to be webcast live, giving shareholders the opportunity to view and listen to the AGM presentation together with directors' responses to questions communicated to the Company as set out in the Chairman's letter. All shareholder questions must be received by 17:00 on Thursday 4 June 2020 in order to be considered for response at the AGM. We recommend that shareholders check the Group's website between now and the AGM for any updates to the proceedings. Shareholders may register for the webcast in advance at https://webcasting.brrmedia.co.uk/broadcast/5ea7f11c31da814c9fc6c89b. An on-demand recording of the webcast will be available on the Company's website for one month post-event at www.mpevans.co.uk/investors/agm.
