Molins PLC24 April 2006 24 April 2006 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE MOLINS PLC Annual General Meeting At today's AGM, Peter Byrom, Chairman of Molins said: "Overall, the operating performance of the Group is broadly matching ourexpectations. "Order intake and performance at Sasib, though, continues to be disappointing.Action has been taken to reduce costs, principally through short-time working,and further reorganisation is expected. "We expect the order intake in the rest of the Tobacco Machinery division and inthe Packaging Machinery division to be at similar levels in the first half ofthis year to those of the same period last year, with profits weighted towardsthe second half of the year. The Scientific Services division is maintainingits improved performance of last year."
