Monitise increases distribution with mobile network operators T-Mobile and 3 UK

Monitise plc ("Monitise" LSE: MONI.L), the mobile money specialists, announces that it has increased its services and distribution in the UK of its multi functional Mobile Money Platform through new capabilities with longstanding partners T-Mobile and 3 UK.

3 UK will be the first UK mobile operator to enable its customers to access their web portal to register both for mobile banking by download application and also for text alerts.

This follows T-Mobile enabling customers to register for weekly alerts to receive text messages at a time of their choosing and be sent a message if their balance goes above or below a certain limit.

1. Monitise signed a five year agreement in June worth a minimum of US $13 million to be Visa Inc's global development partner for mobile services. Visa Inc has 1.7 billion card-holders around the world.
