Result of General Meeting
Michelmersh, the specialist brick, land development and landfill company, announces that all resolutions in relation to the Placing to raise £3.0 million, announced on 1 March 2010, were duly passed at the General Meeting held earlier today.
Following the acquisition of Freshfield Lane Brickworks, which was also announced on 1 March, Michelmersh is now Britain's leading supplier of speciality clay bricks, paviours and tiles. Planning for the integration of the two companies is progressing well and the Board has been delighted with the positive reaction it has received from staff and customers.
The Board confirms that, following a slow start to the year as a result of the poor weather conditions, sales across all the companies have been in line with management expectations.
The Company continues to make good progress with the land, with planning consent for residential development, at Telford and anticipates that further details will be announced shortly. The Management is also working hard on the other potential land and landfill opportunities within the group.

It not only enables us to take advantage of the current opportunities in the south east England market, but also expands our operations and significantly broadens our customer base.
