Details are as follows; 1. Recording an extraordinary loss Maruwa Electronics (Philippines), Inc. (hereinafter "Maruwa Philippines"), our manufacturingsubsidiary to produce electronic components and to sell them to us, halted its operations asproducts manufactured at Maruwa Philippines were transferred to our manufacturing subsidiaries inMalaysia and India. We determined to dissolve Maruwa Philippines; as a result, we posted a losson dissolution of the subsidiary, 96 million yen (consolidated), 195 million yen(non-consolidated). 2. Influences to operating results The loss stated above is included in the final results for the full fiscal year 2008 ended inMarch, which was announced today.
