Dividend declaration
As previously announced, the Board had intended to propose an increased final dividend of 12.8 pence per share for the year ended 31 December 2019, but in light of the Coronavirus pandemic the Board proposed and shareholders approved a final dividend of 6.4 pence per share, with the Board stating its intention to pay a further dividend of 6.4 pence per share when it was considered prudent to do so.
The Company is now pleased to declare an interim dividend of 6.4 pence per share, which will be paid on 18 December 2020 to ordinary shareholders on the Company's register at the close of business on 27 November 2020. The ex-dividend date will be 26 November 2020.
Prior to payment of this interim dividend the Company will repay the £0.5m of Government grant income received earlier this year.
