Proposed Scrip Dividend Alternative
The Board of the Company has come to the decision that it is in the best interests of shareholders to be offered a scrip dividend alternative. It is therefore proposed that the resolution number 5, set out in the Notice of Annual General Meeting previously sent to shareholders, will be withdrawn.
A further general meeting will be convened to allow shareholders to vote on an additional resolution on the dividend and in relation to a scrip dividend alternative. The current dividend timetable, as announced on 6 May 2008, is being revised and a further update will be sent to shareholders in due course.
