KPMG's Nina Amin MBE appointed as Non-Executive Director

Chief Creative Officer Robert Bready steps down

Koovs plc, (AIM: KOOV), the fashion-forward business focused on the young Indian e-commerce market, is pleased to announce the appointment of Nina Amin (nee Rupani) (age: 59) as Non-Executive Director and Chairman of the Audit Committee with effect from 1 February 2018.

Nina is currently Head of Asian Markets at KPMG UK and was awarded an MBE in 2013 for services to the Asian Business Community. Nina is a Chartered Accountant and was appointed a Partner at KPMG LLP in 2004. She has more than 25 years of experience in providing commercial, tax and financial advice across a broad range of areas. Nina is also a Vice Chair of the Trustee Board of LEPRA and a Board member of TiE London Ltd, a not for profit organization supporting entrepreneurs, and is currently a Director of NSA Executive Services Limited.

There are no further disclosures required in accordance with AIM Rule 17 and Schedule Two paragraph (g) of the AIM Rules for Companies.

Lord Alli, Chairman of Koovs, said: "Nina is a strong addition to the Board, bringing a wealth of audit, corporate tax and governance experience across British and Asian markets. She will be a great asset and we welcome her to the Board."

Board Director and Chief Creative Officer Robert Bready has stepped down and is leaving the Company. Robert, who joined the Board in 2012, has been instrumental in the development of Koovs product design and merchandising operations. He has more recently supported in transitioning these functions, bringing on board Samantha Chilton with 25 years' expertise with brands such as Primark, Arcadia and River Island, to lead the design team, and also Lauren Pool as Head of Creative, who brings over nine years' experience in creating high-end campaigns and building the profile for e-commerce brands such as Little Mistress, Girls on Film and Paper Dolls.
