Kcell Joint Stock Company ("Kcell" or the "Company") (LSE, KASE: KCEL) confirms that it has received notification from the Ministry of Transport and Communications ("MTC") regarding the lowering of price caps, to decrease maximum tariffs in respect the following: on-net calls to 15 tenge per minute (excluding VAT), off-net tariffs to 29 tenge per minute (excluding VAT), the maximum tariff for 1MB to be reduced to 18 tenge (excluding VAT), and outgoing domestic off-net SMS to 12 tenge.

 

Having received the statement from the MTC, the Company is analyzing the potential impact in the event of the implementation of these suggested caps.
