Strategic Partnership

to

Extend its Microsoft Dynamics AX offering

 

K3, which provides Enterprise Resource Planning ("ERP") solutions to the supply chain industry, is pleased to announce that it is extending its presence in the rapidly growing Microsoft Dynamics AX marketplace, through a strategic partnership which will enable K3 to offer this new generation product with software modules specifically tailored for multi-channel retailers.

 

K3 has entered into a strategic partnership with Omnica Ltd, the Warrington based multi-channel retail software solutions specialist, to resell Omnica's multi-channel retail solution which is specifically designed for the new generation Microsoft Dynamics AX platform. The Omnica solution is 'Certified for Microsoft Dynamics', confirming that it has achieved Microsoft's highest standards for partner developed software. The solution is used by multi-channel retailers in the UK, Continental Europe and the USA, including Direct Wines, Orbital Marketing, Lucky Vitamin and The Scout Shops.

 

Microsoft Dynamics AX is a comprehensive ERP solution for mid-size and larger organisations and is one of the fastest growing business management solutions worldwide. K3 is a well-established provider of the AX platform in the food and process manufacturing sector, owning intellectual property for modules which tailor Microsoft's technology to the requirements of this sector. This strategic partnership enables K3 to extend its AX capability further into the retail sector and in particular with multi-channel retailers, a market in which K3 has considerable existing expertise with customers such as The White Company, IKEA and White Stuff.
