SPARK VCT PLC (the "Company")
Notification of Transactions of Directors
Further to the Continuation Vote and Strategy Update announcement released on 26 February 2010 in which certain Directors of the Company indicated their intention to purchase shares on their own behalf, the Board announces that on 16 April 2010, following the announcement of the Annual Financial Report on 1 April 2010, certain Directors of the Company acquired a total of 114,246 ordinary shares of 5p in the Company at a price of 13p per share as follows:

The interests in the ordinary shares of the Company acquired on 16 April by Robin Field are held by a connect party.
Officers of the Company's fund manager, Spark Venture Management Limited, did not purchase any shares on their own behalf.
The Company is now in a closed period until the announcement of the Interim Management Statement for the period ended 31 March 2010.
