Jersey Electricity Company Limited15 March 2006 The Jersey Electricity Company Announcement of Special Dividend Distribution of the proceeds from the sale of property At a meeting of the Board of Directors held on 14 March 2006, a special interimdividend of £5.55 gross (£4.44 net of tax), was approved on the Ordinary and 'A'Ordinary shares. The dividend will be paid on 31 March 2006 to thoseshareholders registered in the books of the Company on 24 March 2006. Thisreflects the distribution of the £6.8m proceeds from the sale of an investmentproperty at Broad Street, St Helier during the last quarter of 2005. P.J.
