Requisition of General Meeting

Iofina plc (AIM: IOF), specialists in the exploration and production of iodine and manufacturers of specialty chemical products, announces that the Company has received a letter dated 9 March 2020 from Rene Nominees (IOM) Limited A/C POOLED (the "Requisitioner") on behalf of beneficial owners, Southern Rock Insurance Company Limited and ICS Risk Solutions Limited, regarding a purported requisition for Iofina to convene a general meeting ("GM") pursuant to section 303 of the Companies Act 2006 (as amended), to propose the following ordinary resolutions:

1. That Lance Baller be removed as a Director of the Company.

2. That Arron Banks be appointed as a Director of the Company.

Among other things, the Requisitioner's letter further informed the Company that the Requisitioner is the registered holder of a total of 20,251,255 ordinary shares in the capital of the Company, which represents approximately 10.56% of the voting rights in the Company.

Iofina is currently seeking advice in relation to the validity of the purported requisition. Shareholders are advised to take no action at this time. Further announcements will be made in due course.
