Graphite Enterprise Trust PLC01 April 2005 ANNOUNCEMENT TO STOCK EXCHANGE GRAPHITE ENTERPRISE TRUST PLC 1 April 2005 Graphite Enterprise Trust PLC (the "Enterprise Trust") has disposed of itsinvestment in Ridgmont for cash proceeds of £9.4 million. The effect of thissale, taken in isolation, is to increase the Enterprise Trust's net asset valueper share by 4.9p, all of which is attributable to the capital account. On 16 March 2005 the Enterprise Trust announced that its net asset value pershare as at 31 December 2004 was 320.6p, of which the investment in Ridgmontaccounted for 4.5p. The Board reviews the valuation of the portfolio quarterly and expects toannounce the Enterprise Trust's net asset value per share as at 31 March 2005 on18 May 2005.
