Hargreaves Services PLC04 December 2007 For Immediate Release 4 December 2007 HARGREAVES SERVICES PLC (the "Group" or "Hargreaves") 4th December 2007 Pre-Close Period Trading Update for the Six Months ended 30 November 2007 Hargreaves Services plc, the leading provider of transport and support servicesto the energy and waste sectors, today issued the following trading update forthe six months to 30 November 2007, prior to the Group entering its close periodand announcement of its interim results. Group profit in the first half of the year will be in line with the Board'sexpectations. In the Board's opinion, Hargreaves continues to make good progressin integrating all its recent acquisitions. Recent trading levels and futuretrading outlook are particularly encouraging in the Minerals Division. The forward order book across the Group remains strong and the Board remainconfident that the Group is on target to achieve its growth and profit targets. The Group expects to announce its interim results on 14th February 2008.
