Hargreaves Services PLC14 July 2006 HARGREAVES SERVICES PLC ("Hargreaves") 14 July 2006 Possible acquisition of Norec Limited Hargreaves announces that it is in talks which may or may not lead to theacquisition of Norec Limited ("Norec"), a company engaged in the provision ofindustrial services, similar to those provided by Hargreaves' IndustrialServices division. In the last financial year, Norec reported turnover of £23.4mand profit before tax of £1.02m. This announcement is made ahead of disclosure of the talks to the employees andcertain customers of Norec. A further announcement is expected to be made byHargreaves in due course.
