Further to theΒ preliminaryΒ announcement ofΒ annualΒ resultsΒ released onΒ 25Β MarchΒ 2009, the Directors of HochschildΒ Mining plcΒ ("the Company")Β have determined thatΒ the exchange rateΒ to be applied to theΒ 2008Β finalΒ dividendΒ isΒ US$1: GBΒ£0.677865.

The final dividend will be paid on 28 May 2009 subject to shareholder approval at the Company's Annual General Meeting on 26 May 2009.
