Disclosure and Transparency Rule 3.1.4R

Hochschild Mining plc (the "Company") announces the following sales of Ordinary Shares of £0.25 each in the Company (the "Shares") by Navajo International Holdings Ltd, an entity related to Roberto Danino, one of the Company's Executive Directors:

- The Company was notified on 2 September 2010 that 185,966 Shares were sold on 1 September 2010 at a price of £3.708259 per Share; and

- The Company was notified today that 134,660 Shares were sold on 2 September 2010 at a price of £3.6136 per Share.

The above transactions were completed on the London Stock Exchange.
