HML Holdings plc (AIM: HMLH), a leading provider of property management, insurance and ancillary services to residential property blocks, advises that Robert Plumb has notified the Company of his decision to retire at the end of this calendar year. The Board is pleased to confirm the appointment of Alec Guthrie as Chief Executive Officer with effect from 1 January 2020. Alec, who has over 30 years' experience in residential property management, has been the Group's Chief Operating Officer since September 2017.
Commenting, Richard Smith, Chairman of HML, said: "The Board is pleased to confirm Alec's appointment while expressing our appreciation for Rob's contribution to the Group over the last 14 years. The Board are also pleased to have in place this succession plan that we know will ensure an orderly hand over of responsibility ahead of Rob's retirement.
