HALMA plcTREASURY SHARE TRANSACTION

Halma plc announces that on 16 November 2012, in accordance with the irrevocable and non-discretionary arrangement with Investec announced on 26 September 2012, it purchased 80,000 ordinary shares of 10p each at a weighted average price of 414.9022p per share. The highest price paid was 415.0p per shares and the lowest price paid was 414.0p per share.
This represents 0.02 per cent of the issued share capital of the Company.
The purchased shares will not be subject to cancellation and will all be held as treasury shares in order to satisfy awards under the Halma plc Performance Share Plan 2005.
In accordance with Disclosure and Transparency Rule 5.6.1, following this purchase Halma plc holds 969,732 shares as treasury shares and the total number of voting rights (shares in issue excluding shares held as treasury shares) is 377,718,020.
