HALMA p.l.c. VOTING RIGHTS AND CAPITAL In accordance with theΒ FinancialΒ Services Authority's Disclosure and Transparency Rules, Halma p.l.c.Β ('Halma')Β confirms that the total number of ordinary 10 pence shares of Halma in issue atΒ 30 AprilΒ 2009Β has increased to 375,413,293.Β Β The change results from the issue of shares to meet the exercise of options under theΒ Company's share option plansΒ and the transfer of treasury shares to fulfil awards vesting under the 2005 Performance Share Plan. Halma holds 1,438,837Β shares in treasury. Therefore the total number of voting rights in Halma isΒ 373,974,456.Β The above figure ofΒ 373,974,456Β may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Halma under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules. |
