NOTIFICATION OF INTERESTS OF DIRECTORS AND CONNECTED PARTIES
HELICAL BAR PLC ("Helical Bar "or "the Company")
The Company was informed today that the following transactions had taken place:
1. Exercise of Share Options
On 29 August 2008 subscriptions options over 222,584 new ordinary 1p shares were exercised in accordance with the rules of the Helical Bar 1999 Share Option Scheme. These options were originally granted on 8 March 1999 and had to be exercised before 7 March 2009.
Following the exercise of these options the Company had 97,066,332 ordinary 1p shares in issue.
Included in these transactions are options exercised by the following directors:
Michael Slade
Options over 177,404 shares exercised at 88.5p per share.
Nigel McNair Scott
Options over 45,180 shares exercised at 88.5p per share.
2. Sale of Shares
On 29 August 2008 the following Directors sold shares in the Company:
Michael Slade
177,404 shares sold at 324.38p per share.
Nigel McNair Scott
45,180 shares sold at 324.38p per share.
3. Directors' Interests in Shares
Following these transactions the interests of Michael Slade and Nigel McNair Scott in the shares to the Company are as follows:
