Approved share option exercise
Hargreaves Lansdown plc has received notification today from Lee Gardhouse, a PDMR, that on 9th March 2016, he exercised the option to purchase ordinary shares of 0.4p each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") under the Company's Approved Executive Share Option Plan ("Approved scheme").

The market value at the date of exercise was £12.34. The Ordinary Shares issued in respect of this exercise of options have been satisfied by way of transfer of Ordinary Shares from the Company's Employee Benefit Trust.
Following this transaction, the beneficial shareholding of Mr Gardhouse (including his connected persons) is 834,811 ordinary shares, representing 0.18% of the ordinary shares in issue.
