HILL & SMITH HOLDINGS PLC ("Hill & Smith" or the "Company")

Additional Listing

Hill & Smith announces that it has today made an application to the UK Listing Authority for 519,521 Ordinary Shares of 25 pence each (the "New Ordinary Shares") to be admitted to the Official List and has also applied for the New Ordinary Shares to be admitted to trading on the London Stock Exchange's market for listed securities.

The application comprises a block listing of 519,521 Ordinary Shares in respect of the Company's 2005 Executive Share Option Scheme. The New Ordinary Shares will, on issue, rank pari passu with the Company's existing ordinary shares.

It is expected that admission of the New Ordinary Shares will become effective on or around 11 July 2008.
