Admission to Official List of C Shares and Total Voting Rights
The Board of HSBC Infrastructure Company Limited ("HICL" or the "Company") announces that the 103,600,000 C Shares issued in connection with HICL's Placing and Offer for Subscription have been admitted to the Official List of the UK Listing Authority and to trading on the London Stock Exchange.
Unconditional dealings in the C Shares will commence at 8.00am today and will trade under the ticker HICC.L.
In conformity with the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules, we would like to notify the market of the following:
As at 21 May 2008, HICL's issued share capital consists of 250,000,000 ordinary shares of 0.01p each and 103,600,000 C Shares of 0.01p each. The total issued share capital with voting rights is 353,600,000.
The above figure (353,600,000) may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, HSBC Infrastructure Company Limited under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
