Hardide PLC12 February 2007 Press Release 12 February 2007 Hardide plc ("Hardide" or the "Company") Holdings in Company Directorate Change Hardide plc (AIM:HDD), the provider of unique surface engineering technology,has been informed that, on 9 February 2007, Ellis & Company placed 31,499,725ordinary shares in Hardide on behalf of Flintstone Management Services Ltd, asubsidiary of Proventec Plc ("Proventec"). Subsequent to this transactionProventec no longer has a shareholding in Hardide. Following this transaction, David Chestnutt, non-executive Chairman of Hardidehas announced his intention to step down from the Board of the Company, witheffect from 31 March 2007, to focus on other business interests, including hiscurrent position as Chief Executive of Proventec plc. A new non-executiveChairman will be appointed in due course.
