Transaction in own shares
Hays plc (the "Company") announces that it has purchased, in accordance with the authority granted by shareholders at the 2021 Annual General Meeting of the Company, the following number of its ordinary shares of 1p each on the London Stock Exchange through UBS AG as part of its £75 million share buyback programme announced on 28 April 2022.

The purchased shares will be cancelled.
Following the purchase and cancellation of these shares, the Company will have 1,656,567,848
ordinary shares in issue (excluding 16,358,090 treasury shares).
