Hays plc, the leading global experts in qualified, professional and skilled recruitment, is pleased to announce that Torsten Kreindl will be joining the Board as an independent Non-executive Director on 1 June 2013, and will become a member of the Audit, Remuneration and Nomination Committees.
Torsten Kreindl has a PhD in Industrial Engineering/Technical Chemistry from the Johannes Kepler University of Linz in Austria. During his successful international career, he has worked at Booz Allen Hamilton and Deutsche TelekomAG in senior executive positions. Since 2005 Torsten has been a partner in Grazia Equity, a Munich-based venture capital firm. In addition to his venture capital activities, Torsten has been a member of the Swisscom AG board since 2003.
Commenting on this appointment, the Chairman of Hays plc said:

The Company confirms that there is no further information about Torsten Kreindl requiring disclosure under paragraph 9.6.13 (1) to (6) of the Listing Rules of the UK Listing Authority.
