31 March 2011 Talent Group plc (`Talent' or the `Company') Director Changes
The Company announces that Bob Benton has been appointed as a non-executive director of the Company, with immediate effect.
Mr Benton is the president of Bob&Co, an advisory firm connecting Vision, Content and Finance by providing guidance, fund-raising and investment in film, television and theatre projects.
Mr Benton is a former Chairman of Talent Group, and most recently served as Chairman of HandMade Films, overseeing the necessary restructuring and sale of the company.
Mr Benton's career includes many years experience in investment banking and stock broking. He recently acted as Managing Director and Head of Media at Canaccord Adams. He also served as Chief Executive of Ingenious Securities. Before that, he was Chairman of Bridgewell Group, the stockbroker which was founded in 2002 and floated on AIM in 2007. He has also held office as Chairman and CEO of Charterhouse Securities, global head of sales at ABN Amro and Managing Director of HSBC Securities Services (formerly HSBC James Capel) before becoming chief executive of the company at the age of 34.
He is the current Chairman of Clarksons Plc, the prominent shipping group.
